Rabbi Ruvain Chait, Director of Torah Trails Inc.

Rabbi Ruvian Chait is the Director of Torah Trails, a not for profit organization in Monsey that runs specialized horse therapy programs for youth at risk. Previously, he held several leadership positions in both the business and chinuch worlds. He graduated from Queens College with a BA in Political Science while simultaneously receiving Semicha (Yora Yora Yadin Yadin) from Yeshivas Chofetz Chaim under Hagaon Harav Henoch Leibowitz ZT"L. He later expanded his studies by enrolling in Fairfield University for his MA, while obtaining Kabalah for Shechita under Hagaon Harav Moshe Feinstein ZT"L. Rabbi Chait has been riding horses since the age of 7, has been trained in martial arts since the age of 13, plays several musical instruments including the guitar, piano, saxophone and clarinet, and is an expert skier and snowboarder. With a rare blend of skills that bridge the gap between the outside world and Torah lifestyle, he has the talent and incredible track record for transforming the lives of teens at risk through his genuine, caring, and no nonsense style, leading them towards a brighter future.

Dr. Gerold From, Psychologist for Torah Trails Inc.

Dr. Gerold From acts as an adviser and psychologist for Torah Trails. He also serves on many boards including Gouverneur's CAB, the National Rehabilitation Counseling Association, Homeless Mental Health residence, and Ocho Foundation. Dr. Gerold From received his BA from Yeshiva University, his Masters in Counseling Psychology from Columbia Teachers College and his Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counselling from New York University in 1987. A man of many talents, Dr. From is a published author, rehabilitation counselor and psychologist. Dr. From has also received numerous honors, including "Outstanding Young Men in America" in 1974, who's Who in Medicine and Health Care in 1998, and Who's Top in Psychology in 1998. He also received the Lower East Side Community Service Health Award, UJC Community Service Award and was recognized for his community service by the united States House of Representatives in 1998.
